Wembley (26/2/2012)

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 At last we’re going to Wembley, another dream come true.
We’ve made another Cup Final but I wish you were coming too.
Once again us Liverpudlians will be walking down Wembley Way.
But I wish you could be with us and be part of this special day.
Hopefully we’ll win another trophy, one more honour to our list.
And our lost friends won’t be forgotten, still so sorely missed.
We’re on the march to Wembley but if only you could be there.
But look at the many tribute flags, they show that we still care.
Let’s hope that we win the Cup, let’s hope we see a great game.
And if that Cup is won, it’ll be more silverware won in your name.

Notes

For those that can’t be there.

JUSTICE AND THE TRUTH FOR ALL
