West Ham Supporters

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 West Ham supporters…
stand out like sore thumbs,
claret and blue beanies…
hand knitted by mums.
Badges and banners,
rattles and scarves,
a chorus of ‘Bubbles’
at the end of both halves.
Fortune is hiding…
while chins are still up,
we face relegation…
and we failed in the cup.
But cockneys are stuburn,
we never give in
’til the nails in our coffin…
are all driven in.
And no matter the outcome…
you won’t see us cry,
we’ll rise like the bubbles…
but we won’t fade and die
And you can bet by next season…
we’ll change our thin skins…
for ones made of rubber
and bounce back again
Yes… West Ham supporters
are definately slick…
but like all of them bubbles…
we’re transparent… not thick!

Pretty bubbles in the air
We fly so high
Nearly reach the sky
But unlike our team we won’t fade and die
Fortune’s always hiding
I’ve looked every where
I’m forever blowing bubbles
Pretty bubbles in the air.
