When Pele plays football who does he dream he is?

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 When I was at Junior School
The boy who sat next to me
Said that Pele’s legs were twice as old
As the rest of his body
All because of the tricks and flicks
The “bicycle kicks”
But mostly those late tackles lunged
From less gifted legs
The cynicism of the Beautiful Game
Caught up with his shadow
But his legend still too quick
Pele there with his World Cups
His Bobby Moore shirt
And more than a 1000 goals
But still I’d like to know
When Pele plays football
Who does he dream he is?

Even Immortals have dreams ūüėČ
