who’d be a keeper who’d risk their life
the diving the injuries the trouble and the strife?

point blank saves the jostling in the box
world-class diving faster than a fox
the headlong nightmare forwards bearing down
penalty shoot-outs the hissing in the ground

always as good as the last way you played
always as bad as your last poor display
slip-ups clearances dodgy pass-backs
just like firewood ready for the axe
