Wigan Poems

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 D-Day

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 It’s D-day for Wigan indeed
But now if they fail to succeed
I know it sounds cruel
But goodbye Mr Jewel
I’m off to watch Rugby league

The yell of the crowd
Now they all mean bugger all

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 The JB is silent
The battle is lost

No one is dead
It’s only a game after all

Ready? We’re off

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 The premiership isn’t much fun
Because when all’s said and done
Some over paid fairies
Drive flash Ferraris
And as we go down they move on

9 Leave a comment on verse 9 0 The talk is all over the town
It looks like Wigan are down
But if Paul’s on the ball
And Wigan don’t fall
Then he’ll be the jewel in the crown
