should get a decent view
but some people are in the way

The pub is now really full
it’s noisy like you’re in the ground
then just as it’s about to start

So I rush to get the beer in
but the service is very slow
then I get a call on my mobile

When I hobble back to my seat
I find that we are now one down
so we all start singing some songs

Then the Tractor Boys get another goal
as usual we are playing really poor
and when they make it three nil

My mates are now playing Pool
and the Jukebox has been put back on
by the time the match is over
almost everyone in the pub has gone.

So in future I’m staying at home
as it’s cheaper tuning into the radio
all I got was a bit of a hangover
and a badly swollen big toe !
