Some remain calm
others scream and shout
some want to fight
and get thrown out.

Some I’m afraid are racist
a sad reflection of society
others sing obscene songs
and taunt the enemy.

Some live and breath Football
their team is their life
the club is above all
just ask their long suffering wife.
¶ 4

Some go for the friendship
they belong to a football family
the camaraderie is everything
nowhere else do they want to be.
¶ 5

Some fans can be nasty
but most are a decent sort
they are bright and smart
clever of mind and thought.

So leave the true fans alone
without them where would we be ?
a real fan isn’t a hooligan
they are just in the minority.
