Do Cheats Prosper?

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 So José, admits that, he got it all wrong
When he called Andy Johnson dishonest
Did he see what went on St James last night
As them blue boys played out histrionics

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Waving imaginary cards from the touchline
Does he, now, want to referee games?
I think he might soon be banned, that is right out of hand
Who next, for his finger of blame?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 None of us die hard’s like the cheating and diving
That sadly, for us all, still exists
But it’s no good accusing an innocent opponent
Whilst yer own team are up to such tricks

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 David Moyes offered to show him the replay
At Goodison, last Sunday lunch
But, he still went off on a tangent
With his accusations, all based on…. a hunch

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 The business is football, not this cheating
That’s good for, nothing to do with our sport
It’s high time we came down with a cast iron fist
On those players that thrive on the floor

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 One or two sending’s off will get the message across
To these jokes who should be up on the stage
And as for our boss, instead of acting the tosser
Get yer mouth and yer brain to engage!

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 It’s my team and I don’t have to like it
It’s cheating, as simple as that
Once upon a time we used to despise it
The way some of these players, play… act!

Notes

I’m not really getting Mourinho’s drift, how can you go on the box with a strait face and call a bloke dishonest, when some your own players are doing much worse!

Johnson was fouled, it was outside the box, but he still was fouled.

Moyes tried to get Mourinho to clam down, and look at the replay on his monitor in the dug out, but Jose, as per usual, when he’s going into one, was having none of it.

909 after the league cup tie the other night was awash with Toon fans complaining about Robben (again) and Drogba (ditto) being up to their old tricks and theatrics.

There’s one bloke, at every club, who can stomp all this cheating out once and for all and that bloke is… the manager!

Or are we in a win at all cost’s kind of culture, where such things as cheating are all part and parcel of our game today, so much so, that we just shut up and accept them?

Peace.

Kev.

A Very Merry Christmas To All You True Fans Out There.
