1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 £7,600 is an insult and a joke,
as a fine for chanting ’bout this bloke,
Balotelli because of the colour of his skin,
this is football’s greatest sin.
£7,600 is nothing in this game,
the money’s nothing compared to the shame,
that those few people who aren’t people should feel,
so why not dock points and make them squeal?
£7,600 for monkey chants, that’s is,
punishment and crime don’t fit,
I’m sick of hearing ’bout this kind of thing,
about the evil that people sing,
Sometimes it seems like it’ll always be here,
because clubs don’t do enough, and people still dare
to persist with it, not a season goes by,
with out some incident like this and I ask myself why
in this day and age it is still going on,
even though everybody knows that it’s wrong,
and disgusting and a blight on humanity,
so £7,600 is pure insanity.

Notes

If this is a ‘zero tolerance policy against racism’ we should be scared. I hope I’m proved wrong and fines do work, but I don’t see it happening. Dock points in all leagues – the only way to to this.
