2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 “Come on Boro! Come on Boro!
Come on Boro! Come on Boro!”
The crowd froze, confused by fear,
Chanting died on their lips.
“Who are those shadowy figures?
Dracula or Frankenstein,
Ghouls or Goblins,”
Was the only question in their minds?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The horrors they witnessed
Even the fertile imaginations
Of the masters of macabre
Shelly, Bram Stoker and Edgar Allan Poe
Would find hard to suppress.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 For most unfortunate souls
No escape,
Lucky few that did,
None have uttered a word of
The horrors
In the swirling mist that engulfed the Riverside.
