Since I was a kid in the park
I always believed that it mattered nought,
Whether one’s skin was bright pink or dark

So what a sensation, when I sat yesterday
In the West Stand at old Highbury
And looked to the North, at the show on display
As far as the eye could see

The red and white banners that loudly proclaim
That our smart fans, far from obtuse
Share my conviction; we must end this shame
This chanting of racial abuse

Kick it out! Kick it out!
That should be the new shout
Let loyalty flourish with pride
Support your own team, but don’t be a lout
Be part of a great winning side
