hunting mercilessly for points

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 they all came out at night
from their tunnels and their holes
both sides fielded mice
with the cagey voles in goals

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 the foxes patrolled both boxes
the badgers dominated the sett pieces
the wise old owl officiated
taking time out from his thesis

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 the squirrels garnered nutmegs
the snakes shimmied through the grass
the bats engaged in goal hanging
as they waited for the lofted pass

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 the crickets were somewhat stumped
as to how to ensnare the hares
but the farmers brutal manacles
caught them all horribly unawares
