Michael Owen

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Speed
The oxygen of youth
And the willing heart
Too quick for
Those with leaden boots
Into the days
Of sun and glory
And history books open
The ink barely dry
And still ready to write more
Hero
Copied but not bettered
Flying boy
Racing out on the park
With our dreams
Stitched to his heels.
