Heading North by helicopter,
Destination: Newton Heath and his new club.

Never fitted in to the rigid team ethic and style
Of our egotistical boss,
So being something of a maverick,
He’s deemed surplus to requirements.

The response of our fans should be interesting
Regarding the hasty departure of their lauded idol
(and former player of the year x 2)
To our bitter Northern rivals.

United with a content Mata on board
Have yet to play both The Arsenal and City
and providing Man Yoo avoid taking penalties
Could do us a right favour in both games.

Of Man Yoo’s money at the moment
Which could also smooth the way as a kind of sweetener
For Wayne Rooney to join us in this summer,

(Dependant on Rooney’s World Cup of course)
