On England’s Green and Fickle Fans.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The cheering fans of England’s men
Sang loud and proud back home
Then in despair our mood was dimmed
To a desolate: “Oh No”.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 In confidence our foe came forth
To improve on damage done
As we praised the villain of before
With: What A blinding save my son”.

Notes

Who’d be a goalie? Come on folks, give the bloke a break, and what of the others in the team so whacked out from doing lucrative telly ads that they couldn’t muster a shot in anger between them all night?

Belo Horizonte? It wasn’t.

Peace.

Kev.
