Our fans are the best !

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Coventry City are at the bottom
but took Thirteen Hundred away
they never ever stopped singing
at Reading’s ground on Saturday.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 It’s easy following a team at the top
when your side hardly ever lose
and you’re going for promotion
but that’s not the case for the Sky Blues.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The Reading fans even applauded us
saying the support for our team was great
it shows that we’re all in this together
and we’ll keep going until it’s too late.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Our manager says we’re the best he’s known
because we sing when other fans would boo
that’s why he wants to keep us in this division
and make us proud to keep wearing the Sky Blue.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So we’ve still got fans keeping the faith
even though we’re propping up all the rest
but even though it’s going to be tough
our true supporters without doubt are the best.

Notes

Our home support has gone down the last few seasons but our away following is brilliant for a club struggling at the bottom.
The manager says he can’t believe how good it is seeing our position and he and the players want to repay our support.

These are the times when the real fan shows his true colours I reckon, and the best fans I’ve seen are Pompey but ours aren’t far behind !
