Poor Rich Men

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Footballers lead lives
That we can only dream of
Part-time hours and jaw drop pay
To do a job they love
Dignity lost to a prying lens
Idols fall but some are pushed
No privacy, their spirit crushed
Judged by mean and jealous men
Failing to find normality
Heroes give their heart, their legs and pride
The rest is snatched away
As tabloids trade on their demise
