Arriving with a fanfare
And camera flashes too,
The Saviour lands
And shakes some hands,

The team’s great hope has landed,
To cheers throughout the town.
He’ll stop the rot
With what he’s got,
And stop them going down.

The boss says with a smile.
Just wait and see
Just stick by me,

But time passes too quickly,
The players fail to win
The fans now shout

The fans, they soon get restless
Say goodbye with a wave.
Choose not to wait,
Leave by the gate,
When the Saviour fails to save.
