by the men in black,
no wonder Gus Poyet
tore the jacket off his back.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Wes Brown makes a good tackle
yet gets shown a straight red,
and that’s why Gus Poyet’s face
turned from pale to bright red.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 And over at the Merseyside derby
Suarez has stud marks on his knee,
yet that tackle from Everton’s Mirallas
only got him a yellow card off the referee.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney
the welsh fans give him lots of stick,
so a wound up Rooney loses his rag
and gives a Cardiff player a hefty kick.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 But for some reason escapes an early bath
and not long after goes on to find the net,
which leaves you scratching your head
and thinking how worse can our refs get ?

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Yes we know it’s a difficult job
and to do it you need a thick skin,
but every week you get dodgy decisions
which have cost teams a worthy win.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 So Mike Riley today will be on his phone
saying sorry to Gus for the fiasco,
but let’s hope his mobiles topped up
as it’ll be dear if he’s pay as you go !

What another crazy weekend of refereeing decisions you couldn’t make it up could you ? Wes Brown makes a perfect tackle yet off he goes,but Rooney boots a player in front off the ref and stays on ! We all know Suarez is a nasty piece of work,but he could have had his career ended by that reckless tackle,but even that wasn’t deemed a red.
I’m from the era of football being a tough physical game,but nowadays football has changed and become a non contact sport.So in respect to the refs they have an even harder job than before.
But these daft decisions are making the game we love into a laughing stock,so sort yourselves out refs !
