The apogee of apology

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Rectitude : Riley style –
only manages to rile
Mourinho

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Clarke is cloaked
in a clique
of cloistered killjoys

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 José mightn’t muster
any munificent musings
from the men in luminous melon

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 but he sure as hell
stirs a hornet’s nest
in his rambunctious quest!

Notes

Premiership action from w/e of 16,17 November 2013

Chelsea gain a very lucky draw versus WBA, managed by old boy Steve Clarke.
Chelsea draw level in added time, from a very dodgy penalty decision.

In the following week, Steve Clarke revealed he received an apology from Referee’s boss Mike Riley.

That stung José into action: where was his apology for the foul in the build up to West Brom’s 2nd goal?
And this week, Gus Poyet made similar barbed reference (re the nonsense Wes Brown sending off) – will a foreigner receive the same type of apology phone call?

I predict various references based on that phone call wiill enter into the lexicon of the game!
