The Bolton Wanderers Turned Corner Haiku Shuffle

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The corner now turned?
Where do we now go from here?
Have not lost this year

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Christmas is now gone
And that dreadful run behind.
We can look forward

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 A respected team
Who play a physical game
Teams now learn from us

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Sam’s philosophy
Has now earned respect from all
And the fans love it.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Some games will be lost
That’s the nature of the beast
Some games will be won

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 And the TV jinx
Seems to be a memory
Did I speak too soon?

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 More TV to come
Could be a banana skin
Let’s keep fingers crossed.

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 Quick to criticise
Just as quick to compliment
And support the lads.

9 Leave a comment on verse 9 0 Just twelve games to go
And the Whites must keep their nerve.
Watch with bated breath

10 Leave a comment on verse 10 0 Play hard for the town,
For a place in Europe calls.
We can all but dream

Notes

Hope I’ve not jinxed them.
