I love football
Always have
And always will.

BUT, I moan about prices,
I’d rather stand than sit
But got a season ticket.

I slag off our players
But clap and cheer when they
score, a two faced supporter.

Often say to my mate, that’s it,
not coming anymore, but never ever
miss any more matches.

Join in shouting at the ref.
But secretly thinking,
You’ve got that one spot on.

Jolly banter with the away fans
In the pub before the game,
But dislike them in the ground.

Say I detest the booing,
Of an ex returning player,
But jeer him nevertheless.

Widespread at football grounds
Common only to the football fan ?
