The Lion Sleeps

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Bobby Murdoch was his name,
A Lisbon Lion they could not tame,
The man was class when he played the game,
His like we will never see again,
When Bobby Murdoch got the ball
There was always another Lion waiting to maul,
Bobby was the first Lion to go,
But will always be remembered as a Lion, who stole the show,
Sleep tonight oh Lisbon Lion,
For your Glasgow Celtic will never stop trying.
