The Twin Towers of Wembley,
Were an eyesore for all to see,
But suddenly for some strange reason,
They became part of history.

Shattered in pieces,
Down on the floor,
Pitch like a jungle,
Or a wild Yorkshire moor.
¶ 3

The site of so many wins,
And so many losses,
So many sins,
And so many bosses.

The memories now,
Flown away like ghosts,
We’ll never forget it,
Like those collapsed goal posts…. (see beneath)
