if Shakespeare did come down from heaven,
and head for the theatre of dreams,
“gadzooks” he would say, “seems colonials do pay,
for the rights of whats English, it seems”

as Englishmens bard over all,
did we we lose to the mighty Armada?
if so, … then i cannot recall”

an englishmans home, thats his castle?
“Once more Man U lads to the breach”

now besieged by the land of the free,
they’ve got Bush, Reagan & Carter, we’ve the Magna Carta,
Wordsworth, Pepys, Bacon and Me!
