Unusual red moon.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Last night while resting in my bed,
I looked through my starlit window,
And the moon had turned from white to red.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I sat up straight,
I have never seen that before,
I ran down my stairs,
And out of my front door.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 It cast a red dusky shadow,
All over the roof tops,
Was it my imagination,
Would I wake up and make it stop?

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 I glanced over my shoulder,
To that great building in Liverpool City,
I have seen the bird a million times,
But this time, I swear she looked back at me.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 And then with one powerful move,
She spread her wings to fly,
Nobody else saw her,
Just the moon the stars and I.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 She flew for the first time,
In more than one hundred years,
Around Anfield she circled,
She cried 96 tears.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 One tear for every INNOCENT,
But then she could not stop,
For every person affected,
Another tear she dropped.

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 Last night their was no flood warnings,
For Liverpool City,
But the river Mersey almost burst its banks,
As it raged through to the sea.

9 Leave a comment on verse 9 0 I woke again this morning,
With this vision in my head,
And I know I was not dreaming,
Because the sky it still glowed RED.

10 Leave a comment on verse 10 0 Our Bird she was back on her perch,
Where she has always been,
Standing proud and keeping guard,
The emblem of our team.

11 Leave a comment on verse 11 0 The truth is out,
Now for Justice we wait,
Through all the papers we do comb,
But the tears will not stop,
Even when the guilty have met their fate,

12 Leave a comment on verse 12 0 96 ARE NOT GOING TO COME HOME!!!!
