Why Men Hate David Beckham

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 He is the man born with his cleats,
Hailed a physics genius, thanks to his free kicks.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Medal-laden and true winner at Man U,
On top of that, He’s England Captain too.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Hotshot endorser, with a face so gorgeous,
Even worshipped by Buddhist monks that it’s almost ridiculous.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Admired and adored by women of all ages,
Cor! A common man can only dream of taking home his wages!

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Yet through all that he remains humble and meek,
A bad boy no more, he just lets his actions speak.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Now a family man with an equally-famous wife,
Two beautiful children and an almost-perfect life.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 Come on, admit it,
Don’t you just wish you were him sometimes?

Notes

A poem which sprung from the depths of my boredom. It’s amazing what idleness can lead your brain into spewing, innit?
