Beneath the warm Norman skies
The low hum of holidaymakers
Coming and going
The Navy smart in dark blue smiling
A lone football rolling from the back of
An open car
The banners reaching up to the sun
The light guides them forward
The names of friends lost
But not forgotten
And in the distance like moon jellyfish
450 Paratroopers descend from Hurricanes
To land amidst the comrades and memories
Walking together on the long road home.
