Where Dantesque signs

“How was it?” I eagerly enquired
They cool and calmly reflected:
“Not as bad as we’d expected
By way of a baptism in fire.

It has to be said”
Voiced the one known for his gumption
“That for sheer passionate emotion
There’s nothing quite so explosive
As a Derby… fought out by The Thames in West London!”
