And the Canaries are now silent too
But the Wolves they are howling
The brummies are a rhapsody in blue.

The Lilywhites have nicked the sixth spot
After going on a nice little run
Defences struggling with big John Parkin
Rampaging through like Attila the Hun.

It’s West Brom and two from the North East
Who look to be on the way down
No more Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal, or Liverpool,
But now Peterborough, Barnsley, and Keano’s Ipswich Town.

The MK Dons face the underdogs Scunthorpe
But the Irons could just upset the apple-cart
While Leeds have to go into the Lions den
Not a place for those of faint heart.

So for some it’ll end up in tears
But others will be on cloud nine
