1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 He came recommended by Sir Alex Ferguson
to take charge of the Sky Blues,
and he’s building a young team
that just doesn’t like to lose.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 And he’s doing a really good job
which has given us fans a lift,
and we should be in the top six
if we never started ten points adrift.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Yet his team are all fighters
who will never ever give up,
and if they did get promoted
it would be as good as winning the Cup.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 But a season is a marathon not a sprint
and it can be a rollercoaster ride,
but Pressley’s young guns have spirit
who wear the Sky Blue with pride.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So well done so far Steven Pressley
you’ve put any doubters to shame,
and I’m sure I say this for all City fans
we are so pleased that you came.

When Pressley came to Coventry from Falkirk his appointment was greeted by many fans with comments like “he won’t be any good.” And ” couldn’t we have got a bigger name ?” Yet all the doubters have been left silenced now as Pressley is turning out to be one of the most promIsing managers we’ve had for years.
He played for us in the 90’s even though I can’t remember him,but he has played for Scotland and for both Glasgow teams.
Ferguson said Coventry have got themselves a bright and talented young manager,and his words were spot on.
But Coventry City as all football fans know have a uncanny knack of selling their best players,and it wouldn’t shock me to see them let our bright manager go elsewhere too.
But we’re enjoying it while we can !
