Count jugular

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Champions League Semi Final first leg, Stamford Bridge
a barnstorming match – or a Bram Stoker match?

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The red mist will descend tonight
with Scousers skewering the Kings Road
in a kebab of kerfuffle and hope
with their kinetics of kinship and pride
sending “you’ll Never Walk Alone” reverberating
into even the pores, of ‘er indoors

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 But they’ll be secretly welcomed –
for we envy them their history
we crave ther legacy
and we wish to elevate
the Special One, onto a par with Shanks
and so tonight…
Tonight : we’ll swoop like vampires
and draw goals like blood
for the beating of Benitez and his boys
will be a lustful revenge!
