cheltenham town

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 football’s good, football’s great
head for whaddon, common mate
todays the day, spencer scores
out the house, shut the door
catch the bus, a bit of a walk
hey up lads, we’re playing york
should be a win, but it dont matter
i ignore all the titter tatter
win or lose, who gives a damn
common cheltenham, wave your hands!
oh look at this, mccann with a stunning pass
spencer scores! it happened so fast
one nil up, whistle blows
victory, well done lads, here’s the crown
i’m glad i support, mighty cheltenham town

Notes

i wrote this to show that it doesn’t matter whether you win or lose in football, it’s the taking part that counts! common cheltenham! next season we’ll do much better lads!
