Three Ring Circus
¶ 1

Roll up Roll Up Roll up
We have tickets to spare
And what clowns we have
Guaranteed to make you smile
Unless you’re a “true red”
Give up the days of Shankly
And Paisley and Fagan
Forget Dalglish (“he’s had it”)
We have a vacancy
For a ring master
Anyone can apply
Dont need a CV
Dont need a vision
Maybe a miracle or two
But we can negotiate on that…

Money talks
Yeah well memories are fine
But we need to sell shirts
In exotic sounding places
“Yer mean like Kirkby, Birkenhead
Speke, Rock Ferry, Bootle?”
¶ 3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 “No son, Ko Phi Phi, Surin, Mae Sai, Hua Hin”
¶ 4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 “Christ, what would Shanks say?”
¶ 5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 “Excuse me son, who’s Shanks?”.
