Always too quick for his maker to
Peg him back
Jinky grew his wings beneath the
Emerald and Gold of the ‘tic
And how well those wings spread
All the way to the warm skies
Of Lisbon
The wee man who feared flying in his heart
But not his feet
How well he sent the ball
On its journey Inter the net…
