Language Barrier

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Pat Fenlon flew over to Prague, a
Great city with very cheap lager.
He’d heard of a player from Des Lynam
And was wondering if he should sign ‘im.
The player was a very quick fullback,
Who’d get to the line and then pull back.
And Pat felt excited to witness
The fullback’s high level of fitness.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 But when they were introduced later,
Nobody could find a translator.
And every time Pat asked a question,
He was met by a puzzled complexion.
And so, he began to get bugged,
As the fullback looked blank and just shrugged,
Till Pat cried at last, “Flipping heck!
I’m not going to sign a blank Czech.”
