Blunt Macca

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 They call him Mac the knife
With a new found temperament much suited to Fife

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 New white teeth, big smile, his chic is not boho
Though thoroughly approved by the men from Soho

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Becks was one of the best of his generation
Axed by Moustache Pete Mac and his delegation

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 What happens if Lennon or SWP are out
We’ll see the strength of this new found clout

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Questions not answered by a thumping of Greece
Will the team wilt under pressure and start to crease,

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 In the run up to Euro two thousand and eight
A stuttering qualification and he’s out through the gate

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 I fear the new England boss
May be be seen as someone who served up a load of dross

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 Nevertheless his journey up the fjord
Will be easier thanks to Mr Clifford

9 Leave a comment on verse 9 0 And when his one track tactic stalls
He’ll be seen as just a mouthpiece of Lord Terrence of Venables

Notes

Macca was England’s last choice, a reputation enhanced by Sir Alex and the best Chairman in the Premiership (Steve Gibson). There is no ideal English candidate for the England post. The nearest is a Scot, Sir Alex. Macca though will offer good spin, especially with Max Clifford now on board.
