Football farm (part three) FOOTBALL IN THE WATER.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Down the Gordon Hill we go,
past Gerry Ryan’s daughters,
looking for the football stars,
who play in the — Joe Waters.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 We see ‘Fowler is Cod’
sprayed on a Steve Stone, Peter Wall,
as we have a little kick around,
with an Alan Ball

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 We go along the Gordon Banks,
just by the old Paul Lake,
and make ourselves Alan Comfort,
as observations we try to make.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 We see Peter Haddock,
or Addicks we should say,
cos that’s the slang for haddock,
down Sarf London way.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Pretty Swans from Swansea,
with Ralph Coates of David White,
heads bobbing proudly,
eyes darting left and right.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Geoff Salmons of Sheff United,
going with the flow,
and as he did in the 70’s,
putting on a show.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 Shrimpers swimming by,
trying to avoid the net,
and the infamous Peter Swan,
trying to place a bet.

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 Mariners from Grimsby,
looking for a catch,
but they’re relying on Dave ‘the Seaman,
so there’s not much chance of that.

9 Leave a comment on verse 9 0 Skillfully avoiding tackles,
is Charlton star Mark Fish,
who doesn’t fancy being,
the food on someones dish.

10 Leave a comment on verse 10 0 We see a tearful crocodile,
which makes us all excited,
and we’re informed by the Saints Hugh Fisher,
it supports Dundee United.

11 Leave a comment on verse 11 0 So as we stand here on the Richard Shaw,
the wind turns to Tony Gayles,
and soon enough the heavy rain,
turns to Derek Hales.

12 Leave a comment on verse 12 0 So we call a halt to our adventure,
it’s over and David Dunn,
and as we head back to reality,
I hope you all had fun.
