looking for the football stars,
who play in the — Joe Waters.

sprayed on a Steve Stone, Peter Wall,
as we have a little kick around,
with an Alan Ball

We go along the Gordon Banks,
just by the old Paul Lake,
and make ourselves Alan Comfort,
as observations we try to make.

We see Peter Haddock,
or Addicks we should say,
cos that’s the slang for haddock,
down Sarf London way.

Pretty Swans from Swansea,
with Ralph Coates of David White,
heads bobbing proudly,
eyes darting left and right.

going with the flow,
and as he did in the 70’s,
putting on a show.

so there’s not much chance of that.

We see a tearful crocodile,
which makes us all excited,
and we’re informed by the Saints Hugh Fisher,
it supports Dundee United.

So as we stand here on the Richard Shaw,
the wind turns to Tony Gayles,
and soon enough the heavy rain,
turns to Derek Hales.

So we call a halt to our adventure,
