Just because I am a Ball

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Just because I am a ball
Does not mean I lack feelings at all.
I get kicked around
When I’m on the ground,
And I cry when I’m high
Right up there in the sky,
And I despair, there,
Hanging in the air,
And I’m full of woe,
When they kick me through the snow,
I suffer to my cost,
When tackled by Jack Frost,
It goes against the grain,
To play football in the rain,
I get booted in the air
And the lads don’t even care.
Just because I am a ball
Does not mean I lack feelings at all.

Notes

I wrote this poem to show how we should respect a football’s feelings.
