Never Start what you Can’t

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 He could do everything that a forward should do,
He’d run into deadly positions.
He could jump for a ball like nobody we knew,
Whatever the weather conditions.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 He’d ghost past defenders as though they weren’t there,
His passing was swift and incisive.
As brave as a lion, as strong as a bear,
His tackling was crisp and decisive.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 His finishing though, was a terrible shame,
More so as his powers did diminish.
So brilliant at all other parts of the game,
Such a pity he just couldn’t
