Who ate all the Badger pies ?

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 If you go down to Forest Green today
you’re sure of a big surprise
as you won’t find trace of Horse
but Badger in your pies.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 But it’s all healthy food on the menu
with not a sausage roll in sight
so instead of a Red Rum steak
it’s veggie grub if you fancy a bite.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 So in place of that greasy burger
why not try a slice of Walnut cake
and have a cup of Lentil soup
instead of a beer at the half time break ?

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 They’ve even got Solar Panels at the Lawn
so F.G.R. are well and truly Green
and with the players turning Vegan
they’re all now addicted to Soya Bean.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So Forest Green could be the future
and this may catch on everywhere
so expect lots of chilled out supporters
who’ll be wearing flowers in their hair !

Notes

I watched the One Show recently where it featured Forest Green Rovers and their Vegetarian food at the ground.

It was interesting to hear the fans comments on it and it was mixed with some for it and others not.

I looked it up and it said the Chairman used to be a New Age traveller, so my last verse could be prophetic then ?

I’ve eaten lots of Veggie food and enjoyed it, and with the food scare going on we could do a lot worse.

But I also had to look up Badger Pie too and thankfully it isn’t real Brock.
PHEW !
