F.A.Cup Fifth Round–Haiku

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Huddersfield walloped
Wigan put four past the Town
Mark Robins Red faced.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Chelsea bang in four
sting taken out of the Bees
the fifth round awaits.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Another four goals hit
this time Manchester City
Leeds put to the sword.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 The Gunners are out
Blackburn Rovers nick the win
Wenger takes some flak.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Toffees come unstuck
Oldham do it yet again
back to Goodison.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 No shock at Luton
they can’t tame Millwall Lions
Hatters head on out.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 Barnstorming Barnsley
put three past the M.K.Dons
Tykes are on a roll.

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 Twenty five goals scored
F.A.Cup alive and well
it’s still worth winning !

Notes

This is written before the Man United verses Reading tie.

But with Chelsea, Wigan, and Man City banging in four goals,and Oldham getting a draw with a late goal against Everton, it was another thrilling advert for the Cup.

But for me the highlight of the round has to be Wigan turning Huddersfield over, not because I dislike the Town or like Wigan, but I just loved the fact Robins lost his first game in charge of his new team !
