The ultimate protest

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The Klingons launched a deadly raid
From eighty light years hence.
Brave Earthmen faced them, unafraid,
Their faces grim and tense.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The missiles zapped out back and forth,
Explosions flashed through space.
From west to east, from south to north,
There died the human race.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The Klingons stared long at the void
Where once the earth had stood,
And mourned a species now destroyed,
A mass of skin and blood.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Then shrugged and turned back from the fire
With purposeful precision.
How sad such carnage should transpire
From one offside decision.
