A Boy’s Christmas Wish.

Dear Santa my wish for Christmas,
please help me if you can.
Send our team a new centre forward,
cos dad’s a football fan.
Dad says our old one must be blind,
because he cannot find the net.
He’s played in thirteen matches,
and he hasn’t found it yet.
Two left feet must be a novelty,
dad says he’s always on the ground.
The last time he had seen him score,
they had to bring him round.
Some fans call him Cinderella,
because he’s always late for the ball.
But to say he hasn’t got a dad,
isn’t very nice at all.
So please make my dad so happy,
this is my Christmas plea.
And on the subject of presents,
an i-pod will do for me.
