Away to Friendly Limerick

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Hello, my name’s Limerick, how are you doing?
Come on inside now, I have the tea brewing.
It’s brilliant to see you. How’s things in the Smoke?
You look pretty down – shall I tell you a joke?
Do you think you can manage to win the League back?
What combination will lead the attack?
What way’s the missus? How’s the kids keeping?
I’m okay myself, though I have trouble sleeping.
Keep your hand in your pocket, that drinks on the tab.
It’s hard to be nice, but I give it a stab.”

Notes

(Shelsweb announced that on the 28th January, Shelbourne would be playing “away to friendly Limerick”)
