Being a football

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Sitting on my own,
Until all the boys and girls come and play,
They scream and shout and jump about,
They all just love to play.
But I am the one that does the work,
And I get kicked about all day,
I used to be nice and shiny and red
But now I am dirty and grey,
I used to bounce but now I can’t,
I’ll soon be thrown away,
I don’t think I’m going to last another day,
But they won’t care,
Once I am thrown away,
Then they’ll get something nice and new and shiny,
And start all over again.
