So ‘Come on you Spurs’ rings out aloud
The Indian sign has been destined to lie
Shattered in bits to the ground

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The fans in Tottenham High Road this evening
Will look toward this week with a smile
There’s nothing quite like laying one to rest
When you’ve done it, with Martin Jol’s style

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 We gave it our all, but the run of the ball
Was not going our way last after
In reality that’s just how it goes on occasion
You don’t always get what you’re after

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Two questions that bug me, as I know…we move on
And re-group to work on next match’s tactics
Just why did referee red card John Terry,
For something none of us fans could quite see,
Yet only yellow card a Spurs man for an elbow,
To the face, that he did see?

It’s something we all have to put up with
But after Croatian debacle of last summers World finals
His further inclusion in the referee’s union
Is not something that I feel quite right with

Surely our game deserves some reprieve
From this egotistical referee
Who somehow believes, it’s he, we pay
Our money to see!

Not really worth saying any more, other than I know, I just know that a big controversial decision will come out of a game, any game that he’s involved with…why is that?
