1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 You wouldn’t know me if I passed you on the street
Yet I think of you often, and wish we could meet.
You break my heart, and make me feel bereft.
How would I cope if you just upped and left?

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 You appear amongst my dreams upon a night.
And make me feel that all is going right.
Other times I wake up in despair
I cannot vent my anger; no-ones there.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 You’ve even shattered dreams whilst I’ve been wide awake
I sometimes wonder just how much more I can take
But though some say it’s not traditional
You know my love for you is unconditional.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 You shatter my hopes and dreams, and make me feel lost
But I’ll still visit you again, whatever the cost.
And hope that next time you will treat me well
And lead me from my current hell

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 I long for the days I can smile again, though we’re apart
No matter how often you break my poor heart.
Liverpool, you’ll always be my favourite team.
And I know one day again, I’ll see those trophies gleam.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 The glory years will be with us once more,
And goals just like legends past we will score.
I smile with every victory, and cry with each defeat.
But still you wouldn’t know me if I passed you on the street.
