In Between Haircuts

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 They think they’ve seen it all
Wooden panelled pundits
Talking football
Credibility strains as they pit their wits
Search on E Bay
For antique cliches
But they haven’t seen Beckham with bunches
Ponytail, mohawk, no hair
Brown, higlighted, bleached
So he’s changed his style, does anyone care?
Media exhaustion not yet reached
I’ve never met anyone who gives a fig
Keep it under your hat but I think it’s a wig

Notes

With apologies to Shania Twain – so he’s got hair – that don’t impress me much. I suppose footballers perms in the ’70s caused a few comments
but when did the commentators start thinking we’re bothered about hair dos. Time to get back to the football.
