IT’S LIKE MARMITE.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 You either love it or hate it
It is probaly a disease
It can put you on cloud nine
But it can bring you to your knees.
Only those who love the beautiful game
Will understand what I am on about
But it’s only a silly football match
The unconverted will often shout.
But we never ever listen to them
They just haven’t got a clue
They’re the ones who spend their Saturdays
At the shopping centre, or at a local zoo.
There’s more to life than football
The wife or girlfriend will say
What – watching that silly Big Brother
Or soap operas day after day after day?
So please you non believers
You just leave our passion be
And even though my team has aged me
You won’t stop me following Coventry City F.C.
